IMG_7861.JPG Visiting an ancestor at St. Paul's graveyard

Hi, I'm Your Host!

"My name is Kevin and I have been operating Trinity Historical Walking Tours for 26 years. My Toope ancestors arrived in the "New Founde Land" from Dorset county in the south of England in the early 1800's  and were fishermen in the tiny resettled community of Ireland's Eye, and that's where I was born. I moved to Trinity with my parents in 1954 at the age of two. After high school I attended Memorial University of Newfoundland where I earned a B. Sc., B. Ed., and M.Ed. and I have taught in the Newfoundland school system for more than 40 years. Each summer my family and I return to Trinity and live in the family home. Over the years I have traveled extensively in Canada, the United States, and Europe where I have visited many scenic and historic places, and experienced many cultures. However, Trinity, with its spectacular scenery, rich history, and friendly people ranks as one of the most spectacular places on this planet. I am proud to be from Trinity and I will show you Trinity from a personal and historic perspective that will enhance your visit to our Newfoundland."
